Write for Us

The Business Tales welcomes original contributions from entrepreneurs, business professionals, and subject-matter experts. Here's how to submit.

We accept contributions from people with direct, relevant experience in the subjects they write about. We are not looking for content written primarily to build links, promote a service, or demonstrate expertise that isn't genuinely there. We are looking for articles that give readers something useful — a clear explanation of how something works, an honest account of what a process actually looks like, or original analysis based on real knowledge of a field.

Who Can Contribute

We welcome contributions from:

  • Entrepreneurs and founders with relevant experience
  • Business professionals with direct expertise in their field
  • Operators and executives sharing genuine practitioner knowledge
  • Marketing, finance, technology, and legal professionals
  • Researchers and analysts with original insight
  • Agencies and consultants where the content genuinely serves readers rather than self-promotion

Topics We Accept

We cover the following areas:

  • Business strategy, operations, and management
  • Entrepreneurship and founder experience
  • Startups, early-stage company building, and fundraising
  • Marketing strategy, content, and growth
  • Business technology and digital transformation
  • Business finance, capital, and financial management
  • Leadership, management, and organisational culture
  • Careers and professional development in business
  • Commercial real estate from a business perspective

Editorial Standards

Every article submitted for consideration must be:

  • Original. Not published elsewhere and not AI-generated filler or spun content.
  • Well-researched. Claims should be factually supportable. Where statistics are cited, the source should be credible and correctly represented.
  • Useful to readers. The article should give readers something actionable, informative, or genuinely illuminating — not vague advice wrapped in professional language.
  • Properly written. Clear, readable prose in English. We will copy-edit for style but will not substantially rewrite poorly written submissions.
  • Relevant to our audience. People who run, build, and work inside businesses. Not a general consumer audience.

What We Do Not Accept

The following types of content will not be considered:

  • Plagiarised or significantly AI-generated content
  • Articles that are thin rewrites of widely published material with no original insight
  • Promotional articles disguised as editorial content
  • Content about gambling, adult services, illegal activities, or controlled substances
  • Content containing misleading claims or unsubstantiated statistics
  • Articles designed primarily to insert backlinks rather than serve readers
  • Keyword-stuffed or technically manipulative content
  • Unsolicited press releases presented as articles

Links Policy

We handle links in contributor content as follows:

  • Editorial links — Links within the article body that are genuinely relevant to the subject and serve readers may be included at editorial discretion.
  • Contributor bio links — Contributors may include one link to their own website or professional profile in their author biography.
  • Sponsored or paid links — Where a contributor is paying for placement or a commercial relationship exists, this must be disclosed. Paid links will carry appropriate search-engine-compliant attributes as required. We do not offer "dofollow link guarantees" as a blanket policy.

We reserve the right to remove, modify, or add link attributes to any links within published content at our editorial discretion.

Sponsored Content Opportunities

If you are representing a business and are interested in sponsored editorial placement — clearly labelled as sponsored content — please see our Advertise page for information on available formats and how to enquire.
